Time to Meet Dawn

As I’ve mentioned in a couple of my posts recently, I have added a kitten to my little household. She’s now about 3 months old. She was six weeks old when I got her in November which would put her date of birth around the first week in October. While still pretty wild most of the time she is beginning to settle down as she gets used to the world around her. While I enjoy her company, she’s also here as a companion cat to my adult cat Cookie. She’s 12 years old and has always had a companion either older or younger than her. Cookie doesn’t appear to be the most pleased of cats but is tolerating the presence of the kitten rather well. They do play at times although it does get rather rough and I have to take a close look to make sure it is play and not murder in progress. So far, so good. That’s a picture of Cookie above. She got the siamese intelligence and the vocalness of them but has a pretty quiet temperment other than she doesn’t like being picked up and cuddled. She tolerates me doing so and then...
