Walking Benefits Starting to Show

I got out for a walk with my friend this morning which is good as I wont have one with her next week since she will be traveling. She commented during our walk that I’ve been doing better with the walking. When we first started I needed to stop frequently to catch my breath. Today we walked further than we had before and we only stopped briefly at the turn around point and that was more for her to give the dog her treat. Not as consistently as I should be, but I have been doing some of an exercise video I have at the house here. I should be using it at least every other day but it is more like a once or twice a week. Any improvement in my lung capacity is good as I’m aware that after working for about 10 years in a dusty (pharmaceutical) environment that there is some lung damage. I expect that even more time spent in a smokey environment hasn’t helped either. I was at my office in Peterborough on Monday and Tuesday, out of 6 people who were scheduled to come in for consultations, one showed up. I think I get a bit of an idea why some of my clients have the problems they have. One of them at least called on Monday but then didn’t show up...
