MyBlogLog — Interesting Concept

Before I talk about MyBlogLog, has anyone noticed that the days are getting longer? I have, makes me a happy camper. I rather like being able to leave the lights off longer, saves hydro. Anyways, onward and upward. Did you happen to notice the funny little pictures that have started to appear in the sidebar? Those are the avatars of people who have visited me from a site called MyBlogLog, a social networking site which I’ve recently joined. The basic concept behind social networking is forming community based on share interests and ability to create a network of people. I’ve looked at some of the social networking sites but have arrived at the conclusion that most of them would take more time than I have to offer in order to get full benefit from the site. MyBlogLog focuses their community concept from more than one perspective. I can add members as contacts and communicate with them via the site. The members can enter their blogs, regardless of how many they write and the blogs become ‘communities’ that other members can join and again discussion can take place.
