Saturday I was able to go for my weekly walk with my friend so by the time the day was over I had 11,106 steps. I was also feeling rather stiff so I gave myself some break time yesterday. Well, it is 1:30 on Monday and I’ve just broke 10,000 steps or 5.4km. I should be able to hit the 12k steps mark today. I would like to hit 15,000 steps by next Saturday.

I have to be mindful that when I’m walking or doing walk in place, that my feet are expecting a fair size load coming down on them on a regular basis. That doesn’t mean I shouldn’t use them, just be aware and try to avoid jarring the impact any more than needed. As I build up stamina I should build up some strength in the joints.

UPDATE: I did it, I broke the 12k steps mark today!… 12,214 to be exact and 6.4km distance. Let’s see, maybe 14k tomorrow? stay tuned..
