Based on the book, “The Noticer” by Andy Andrews, the Noticer Project aims to encourage people to notice the people in their lives who make or have made a difference. Those people who influence your choices, your perspective, your sense of who you are. It seems that all too often, we wait for the ‘perfect opportunity’ to let them know how they matter in our lives and that moment never comes.

The idea of the Noticer Project is to encourage people to take the time to notice and acknowledge those who shape their lives. The website provides one venue to do so, or it might inspire you to write the person a note or an email, to take them to lunch, write a blog post etc. The project challenges us to name five people, I suspect most could name way more than that once they start to notice those who influence their lives.

I’m thinking I’m not going to write just a single post. I’m going to write a series of posts about the people who matter to me. I’m going to add a new category called “Noticed” where I can post those notes. They are people who have come into my life in various ways. Some of them still are in my life, some are no longer for various reasons, including death but they all have made a difference.

Are you going to notice those in your life? How are you going to notice them?
